What to do at the park?

Walk the trails together

  • While you walk, talk about what you see!

    • You could look for different plants, animals, count and discuss what you find.

  • Take a note book and pencils, draw pictures of what you see (pretty rocks, leaf’s, bugs, etc.)

Take balls and sports items and play together.

  • Tag doesn’t require any equipment!

Take snacks, drinks, and a blanket. Have a picnic together!

If there is water you can explore the water with your kids using everyday kitchen items:

  • Plastic cups/bowls, turkey basters, tongs, etc.

  • Be sure to wear shoes that can get wet and have towels!
